Rules and Regulations

1. Copyright Compliance: All images and sounds used in the wireframe must either be original creations of the participant or properly licensed for use. Participants are responsible for ensuring that they have the necessary rights to use any third-party content.

2. Original Content: Participants are encouraged to create original images and sounds for their wireframes. However, the use of royalty-free or properly licensed stock images and sounds is permitted.

3. Attribution: If third-party content is used, participants must provide proper attribution according to the terms of the license. Failure to do so may result in disqualification.

4. Appropriateness: Images and sounds used in the wireframe must be appropriate for a general audience. Any content that is offensive, discriminatory, or explicit in nature will lead to disqualification.

5. Quality: Images and sounds should be of high quality and relevant to the context of the website. Poor quality or irrelevant content may impact the judging of the wireframe.

6. File Formats: Participants must ensure that all images and sounds are in appropriate file formats compatible with web development standards. Common formats such as JPEG, PNG, SVG for images, and MP3, WAV, or OGG for sounds are recommended.

7. File Size: To optimize loading times and user experience, participants should keep image and sound file sizes to a minimum without sacrificing quality.

8. Accessibility: Images and sounds should be selected and used in a way that ensures accessibility for all users, including those with disabilities. Alt text for images and captions for sounds should be provided where necessary.

9. Ownership: Carlo Rino own the ownership of the images, sounds and the design of the web site. Participants retain ownership of the images and sounds they create for the wireframe. However, by submitting their entry to the competition, participants grant the organizers non-exclusive rights to use their content for promotional purposes related to the competition.

10. Compliance: Participants must comply with all rules and regulations set forth by the competition organizers. Failure to adhere to these rules may result in disqualification and/or other penalties at the discretion of the organizers.

By following these rules and regulations, participants can ensure that their use of images and sounds in the wireframe for the website competition is both creative and compliant with legal and ethical standards.
